| Eid Carnival The carnival is coordinated by the Students Government Association (SGA). Food, rides, contest, face painting, and many other activities are planned on that day. Students look forward to this celebration every year. | Science Fair The Annual Science Fair is scheduled the second week of January for grades K-8. Students at the same grade level compete amongst themselves where they produce quality and creative projects. Projects are judged for creativity, Scientific Method, and presentation. Winners participate in Memphis-Shelby County Science Fair on the city level. | Reading Fair PVS Annual Reading Fair which is held on March, The National Reading Month, provides our students with the opportunity to share their favorite book through a story board or power point presentation. | International Food Festival The Annual International Food Festival which is coordinated by the PTO is a fun-filled learning experience for students, faculty, and parents. It is scheduled during the month of April, weather permitting. Classes prepare fascinating tables with cultural food, clothes, and decorative items. They also dress in cultural clothes for that day. | Girl Scout Troop 600 Our troop began on November 28, 2006 under the leadership of 3 former Scouts, the enthusiasm of students in all of the grade levels, and the permission of Pleasant View School.
